Topic: New 15 fps test

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VuNo9AAQLvs I hope you've seen at least a little improvement. I just ask that you give a rating out of five.

Re: New 15 fps test

You've somewhat improved. The minifigure looks like he was hard to animate because of stiffness or something. You might want to try animating with a minifigure who is a bit more loose. Do you have any other baseplates, by chance? Or any other types of bricks besides gray? mini/tongue

I'd say 2/5.

Re: New 15 fps test

No, not atm. All of the other types of bricks I have are like 15 of each. Sorry.

Re: New 15 fps test

You're missing the middle frame from your walk cycle - the one where the fig is balanced between the studs.

Re: New 15 fps test

What? I included that one.

Re: New 15 fps test

The problem with the head turn shot is that it doesn't look completely right. Why? It's not the head turn, that looks great and smooth. But look at the minifig's torso/body. It moves around a lot. It's this kind of excess movement that is the animator's nightmare: you focus on one movement, but fail to see that there are other parts in your shot moving around making it look choppy no matter how smooth the one movement is.
