Staff Review

Randy Yard:
There are some issues with this film, a simple tale of a pair of gangsters dealing with a pizzeria's error in a tried and true fashion, but there's enough done right that it's worth your time. A spoof of mafia films, JD does a decent job of recreating the atmosphere of the source material he's lampooning (though the practically non-existent sets could do with some improvement), and the result is that the humorous dialogue and tense situation come across as even more ridiculous. The dialogue, however, is a bit problematic here... though acted competently, the audio is both muffled and too low, and viewers will likely have to rewind a few times to catch everything. It's not a model parody by any means, but if you feel like having a chuckle at the expense of every mobster movie you've ever seen, this short will do the trick.
