Staff Review

Jonathan Vaughan:
The lack of a point to this film is more than made up for by the fantastic animation and some fine action. I mean, how often have you seen a full-size Bionicle figure crushing Storm Troopers? It's undeniably fun, and works largely thanks to some cool cinematography and well-done animation of the Bionicle monster. There's also a heavy amount of greenscreening throughout, which is surprisingly effective most of the time. Though not fine art, Attack of the Bionicles is worth checking out for the spectacle.
