Staff Review

Tripod:
"Little Guys" creator David Pagano delivers another articulate short. "Playback" portrays two characters who each want to listen to grooves, but have different tastes. This short doesn't contain lego figures, but characters constructed out of tons of lego pieces. What this has allowed are characters that are very articulate, and literally show their mannerisms in vast detail. Little things like a character's hair swishing around, or fingers picking during an air guitar performance, it all fits in with smooth movements that bring them to life. This short is fantastic, and well worth your time.
