Randy Yard:
Rather than get too hung up on "reality," this film does a wonderful job of embracing being a brickfilm and running with it. Well-designed sets constructed in a distinctive simplistic style go together beautifully with the film's dialogue-less soundtrack and simple message. Little bits of eye candy are everywhere, including the first bouncing mohawk I've ever seen in a brickfilm (see it to believe it, folks). Throw in some cartoon-like moments of action and a cute "awwww" moment at the end, and you've got a film you'll want to break out every February 14th... if not a few or fifty times in between.
