I like what you've done there Bastetta. The color palate all matches very well and gives the image a really creepy mood. I'm also in admiration of that face; I'm quite terrible at drawing them, especially when it comes down to shading.

I got bugged by my sister into uploading the art I did for my games project to my deviantART gallery. 14 paintings, all done in a total of 6-7 hours. It's the fastest I've ever worked.

I'm currently messing around trying to see if I can update the Nimon from Doctor Who after a comment made in the DW appreciation thread here. I'll post it up here when I'm done. This stuff is very different from the stuff I've done for my art class (which I still need to upload), but I enjoy doing it.

Since we don't have a thread for 3D, I'll put these here. *large image warning (because I forgot to crop them)*
As some of you know, I'm doing a multimedia course at University - I'm doing Virtual Environments, so I'm doing a lot of 3D work (you can go here to see my coursework). One of my personal projects was to recreate a minifig in 3DS Max, since the LDraw mesh export is basically a pile of crap. Some might remember me mentioning it.
Anyway, I decided to finish off the 'rigid' model (ie: 'has all the joint the real one does', no more, no less) and texture it with the exact colours from the Peeron colour chart (although the tutorial I used to get the material looking right is no longer online). The reason I say 'rigid' model is because I'm working on making a replica of the minifigs seen in the video games, with (hopefully) a full range of movement. Suggestions on adding an animateable (sp?) face are very much appreciated, I've seen it done, but I don't know *how*.
Yesterday however I decided to have a little fun and model a Lemming (the video game Lemming, not an actual one). Went and shocked myself with how well it turned out because I was working entirely from memory.
I'm hoping to animate him too, because Lord knows I'll need the practice ready for the next project.
A Dr Lem too maybe? That would be good...
I'm actually working on the rest of those drawings - One and Two are sketched, which leaves 8 to do (I hope it's not long before they release costume shots of Eleven, because I need to work out how to turn him into a Lemming. The hair, at least, shouldn't be a problem).
