Topic: video quality

I was wondering what resolution you guys flim at. I have a logitech quick cam 4000 and I can only get it to film at 640 x 480. Is there a way to get higher quality out of it or am I out of luck.

I have used Monkeyjam and Animator DV to animate my movies which one is better.

[edit] those of you that have the logitech software on thier computer. it says it records video at 640 x 480,but it says that it can take pictures at 1.3 megapixels or somthing. can you trick it in to thinking its taking pictures in stead of video.

My resolution is 640 X 480, I use a QCP5000 (which is almost identical to the 4000).

I film at about 2000 by 1500, but my last film was done at 800 by 400.

If I remember correctly, that 1.3 megapixels thing is really bad - it just scales up a 640x480 image. There's nothing wrong with 640x480 - that's what I use for all my films.

Old Scratch. I think I asked you this already on Youtube, but what is your compression technique? Compression and Youtube uploads are my enemy right now (besides that light flicker thing everyone seems to pick on). If you answered already, please post a link. Thanks!
