Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

You should let other people get feedback first brenden17 before posting your frame.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Hey, it's fine, Kinz. People can critique two frames at once.

@Brenden Very nice. I like the color grading. Is the green baseplate supposed to be showing through?

@RobBrick Not a very flattering angle, IMHO. Also, it seems a bit desaturated or something.

Brenden,
Looks pretty cool, although one thing I would do is add a small amount of light on the gears (I'm assuming they're gears).
Shining a low-watt bulb through one of These gives a very nice, industrial look.

I'm liking the lighting, but it's a little too bright on the figs.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Nice job, although the focus is more on the bricks on the left hand corner than it is the minifig.

I'm working on getting my studio back up and running, so stay posted...

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

I think that's the point.

I like the frame, it has some good lighting in the foreground, which makes the sword have a nice glowing effect to it

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

I am no longer doing TREASURE anymore. This is a shot from my detective movie "Hit and Run", which is about a mysterious murder that has happened out on a highway. It's supposed to take place in the 1940's.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

It's quite a bland frame, and the background looks like a bedroom wall. I would recommend spicing it up with a more visually pleasing angle.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

The aspect ratio is smooshed.
Also, as Mr. Awesomeness stated, it is rather bland. He, however, did not give an example on how to 'spice it up' other then changing the angle.

A few things would be to add a curb on the road, maybe a few trees and definitely a background.

Isn't Hit & Run the name of an old Hali film?

He is most utterly dead. mini/smile

I would add a background, add some flowers or grass, then I might add something kinda poking into the seen from the left of the screen.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

I also fail to see anyone in clear focus. I would also either chroma key, or build a set to block the wall.
