Uhm, yeah. Many people, including me, have worked on entries for Insanity. Be nice if they were judged.

I was wondering about that as well. In the event that they are judged, here is the link for my entry.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

I would really like feedback on my entry, since no one has really said anything about it.

Blue_Ghost, I like your shot. How did u do the water? is it a shiny reflective surface or did u add it in later?

That was aluminum foil. Night_Owl suggested it to me, and I have been very impressed with it. mini/eek

Look in the background. Its blurry, but thats cinematography. The aliens are facing what, a crowd of humans with their hands up. Ad the foreground? This one alien is giving a present to a human.

Yes, but I still don't see how you're portraying disobedience.

How about a caption.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

Cinematography Challenge captions aren't allowed to explain what's going in the frame. They can add a bit of humour or something like that, but you can't use them just because your frame is impossible to understand because that defeats the purpose of the challenge.

That looks good, Hazzat. But I didn't really get how it showed disobedience until I watched that video. Mayby put a 'Do not touch' sign somewhere?

There is a lot of empty space there, I would suggest cropping it. Other than that I think it was really nice.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

What's wrong with empty space? What you aren't realizing is that empty space is just as vital in creating compositional balance as anything else.
