What's the deadline for entry? I can't seem to find that in the rules
I've made some characters and a storyline so far. I plan on scripting soon.
Is it fine if I have this LEGO set in the video: http://shop.lego.com/en-US/The-DeLorean … hine-21103 ?
The mini-figures don't have copyrighted logos on them like superman or batman.
Also when is the deadline?

I still probably won't be able to enter, but as soon as I read the theme I had a funny idea about a restaurant, then I read the section about theme in the main post where Onion mentions a restaurant order and thought "darn, well that idea isn't original anymore."
I made an update thread for people to post sets, updates, etc in and stuff.
Can I make more than one entry? Please I need to know!!!

I won't be able to enter this year. 
I really want to enter this, but I can't decide if I will be able to or not. I am about to start my first year in high school, and on top of that I need to edit this big Live action film thingy. It sucks cause I have a decent idea and a hankering to start animating.
What to do, what to do....
Simple, work on the assumption you can and look at the homework you receive on the first week. If you think you can work on a film despite it, go for it. If not, keep working on the film as a side project for fun.
Absolutely! Even if you aren't able to enter the contest in the end, you should still continue to work on the film. Entering a contest should be seen as a great bonus, not the single driving reason to make a film. Make a film because you want to make a film!

Good point. I wouldn't want to be labeled as the guy who doesn't want to brickfilm because their aren't any contests around. I do want to make this brickfilm, but I don't think I will rush it, I will just get done what I can in time. 
would we have to have someone compose music for our entry?
You can, but as long as your music is under the creative commons licence you should be good.
Hi, so I have a sorta silly question I guess:
The contest description says to create "Modern works", what do you mean by that? 
Going to start script writing later today. Plan on doing some more 24FPS tests as well.
I'm also gonna start writing the screenplay. I got a few good ideas.

It's another meaning of 'New Films', that sort of thing.
