Topic: Superman, Batman, and now Wonder Woman! DC Trinity!

What are your thoughts on these three sharing the screen and Wonder Woman finally having a part in Live Action Cinema?

I think the "Superman vs Batman" title rumors are false. It should be titled: "Trinity"!

Plot Prediction: Lex Luthor gives a speech regarding his presidency and plans to rebuild Metropolis. Gotham's Bruce Wayne is going to help fund in the construction. In addition to that Bruce has suspicions on the Alien called Superman. As construction is making way by the technology of Lex Corp., Superman offers to help to work with Lex. However Lex feels uncomfortable having his funding toward his technological construction sites be nothing compared to the rebuilding speed of Superman. He then grows a sort of vendetta toward the Man of Steel and tricks Superman into attempting to assault him in order to be seen as a greater hero. Just in time, Batman interrupts Superman's attack on Lex and the two of them end up in a violent dispute. Meanwhile, Colonel Steve Trevor crashes on an unknown island and finds that it is home to a group of women that were at first thought to have only been myth in Homer's Greek writing.

Lex finds the remains of kryptonian armor on an abandoned construction site. He plans to use this material for a personal armored suit. The amazonian woman is also captured by Lex and her DNA is extracted and Lex injects it into himself in order to have the strength necessary to take on his soon to be 3 new enemies: A Trinity of Heroes!

Re: Superman, Batman, and now Wonder Woman! DC Trinity!

It's kinda hard not to be skeptical. The idea of introducing Wonder Woman AND Batman in the same movie sounds like it'll be hard. However I am prepared to wait and see how they pull it off.

Your thoughts? What do you think?

WB should call the film "Trinity"!

Re: Superman, Batman, and now Wonder Woman! DC Trinity!

I'm fairly sure 'Batman vs Superman' is working title.

Re: Superman, Batman, and now Wonder Woman! DC Trinity!

I want it to be changed to "Batman vs Superman vs Wonder Woman vs Lex Luthor" just for the sake of being a terrible movie title. mini/lol

Re: Superman, Batman, and now Wonder Woman! DC Trinity!

Could somebody PLEASE just come up with an original plot for a movie?! Give us something fresh and new gosh darnit! Almost every recent and upcoming movie is a sequel or remake:

Iron Man 3
The Avengers
Thor 2
Spiderman 5,00000000
Le misle-however you spell it (the one about France)
Man of Steel
The Hobbit
The Smurfs 2
Star trek
The Dark Knight Rises
Movie nobody cares about 3
Oz the Great and the Powerful
Jurassic park 4
Star Wars 7
Anchorman 2
Catching Fire (yes, I went there)

Even the ones that were kind of good didn't have any charm, they don't look like they have any heart put into them! Its like they just spit them out for money.

Are you people out of ideas?!

Because originality does not guarantee a profit nor a profitable franchise.  You seriously want to bring this argument up, PushOver?

Re: Superman, Batman, and now Wonder Woman! DC Trinity!

I'm honestly hoping that Batman and Wonder Woman only have small parts in this movie, and that the rumours about Doomsday appearing are unfounded. I mean, I'm hugely optimistic, but at the same time Green Lantern and The Dark Knight Rises are still fresh wounds.

In a way, it's sadistically entertaining watching DC flounder around trying to do one bad or controversial movie every year or two while Marvel pumps out two hugely successful movies every year (not including Marvel characters that other studios hold the rights to, which also seem to pop up on the screen every year). It's a shame, since in their comics DC's writing tends to be better, though I still hold Marvel in very high regard.

Re: Superman, Batman, and now Wonder Woman! DC Trinity!

The more and more I hear about this film, the more I'm getting the impression the film is going to be garbage honestly.

Ben Affleck is Batman: Eh okay. It could be bad, but I can't say until a trailer or something.
Christopher Nolan drops off production: Okay, he probably wouldn't have had too much of a factor in its production...
Wonder Woman in the film: It's probably going to be cluttered by changing the focus from now 3 main characters.

It's really a drag because I'm super (no pun intended) excited for this film and I want it to be great, but there's nothing to me so far that points to it being any good.

But bringing back up what Pushover mentioned, I seriously hope after a Justice League movie and The Avengers 2, the superhero craze will die down a bit. Hollywood has become just so saturated in them that it's getting old. I enjoy superhero films and all, but I'd like to see the creative talents behind them use their gifts on something more original. But...they won't. Cause now it's all about the money.

Pretty much my thoughts exactly. However, I wouldn't say I was hopping up and down with excitement from the announcement of this film to begin with.

Re: Superman, Batman, and now Wonder Woman! DC Trinity!

ok this is seriously stupid. we have had like 9 batman movies and 7 superman movies. what about wonder woman? 2 direct to television crappy movies!! We don't need any more movies about Batman or Superman! Why not just make a wonder woman movie instead of just tacking her on to some batman/superman blockbuster as the token female representation?
(on one hand I don't want them to make a wonder woman movie, because she will just be oversexualized, just like what they did to Catwoman in TDK. However I think the need for a good female superhero character trumps that and wonder woman is awesome even if they make her costume STUPID AS HECK)

Ok sorry for that I'm just tired of all these flms because they seem exactly the same to me -_-

Re: Superman, Batman, and now Wonder Woman! DC Trinity!

It looks like it's going to be really bad.  Almost everything seems like a mistake.

I'm totally going to love it though.  I can feel it.

Re: Superman, Batman, and now Wonder Woman! DC Trinity!

I was really excited when they announced that Batman was going to be in it. Ben Affleck was hard to swallow but we can give the guy a chance I gues... I think it all depends on how mayor her role will be in the film.

Re: Superman, Batman, and now Wonder Woman! DC Trinity!

I think this movie is slowly turning into Justice League. They haven't given it a title yet which makes me think they're holding back until very late in the game to announce it, or at least until the teaser trailer. I have a friend very close to the production whose given me that idea, he never spells it out for me tho of course, he would lose his job. lol

Re: Superman, Batman, and now Wonder Woman! DC Trinity!

Aren't there rumours of Jason Momoa being cast? That ties-in quite snugly with the Doomsday rumours. Honestly, I hope they radically change Doomsday's backstory if they do use him. Maybe if they make him a product of LexCorp, rather than the unkillable super-spikey-baby-thing that he is in the comics. Otherwise, they should leave him alone.

My choices for villain would be Lex Luthor, Brainiac, the Weaponers of Qward (as a way of introducing the Green Lantern material), a massively-reimagined Amazo (if, perhaps, it was created by STAR Labs as a way of targeting Superman should they need to), but my main choice would be Luthor. Not Darkseid, though. Even though he was written in the comics first, people will complain that Dc are ripping off Marvel's Thanos (who was actually a rip-off of Darkseid, but ho well).

I really think they should have left it as World's Finest, though. Wonder Woman and Flash need their own movies, while Cyborg, Green Lantern and Aquaman could easily be introduced in a Justice League movie, but there'd need to be more of a build-up first.

All in all, WB's being a bit of a Magikarp here.
