For all you uncultured swine who have never seen the masterpiece that is Citizen of the Year, here it is. This video is so important that it has been built into the coding of BiM.
EDIT: Well frick, I realized this was in the Community instead of the General Film Discussion. Anyone in the Community has obviously seen the masterpiece that is Citizen of the Year.

Happy Septemberfest! Dunno about you guys, but over the next few weeks I'll be watching Dead Parrots Society and that most famous of Monty Python sketches over and over again, along with Citizen of the Year (of course).

Ah, it is that time of the year again. The time of the year to celebrate the film that has defined a generation of brickfilms; the Citizen Kane of brickfilms.
Oh, the writing in this film...lines like "Maybe I'll beat the crap outta you and steal all your money!!!", "THAT'S BECAUSE I'M SO BUSY BUYING THEM FOR STARVING WHACK JOBS!", or "How's the parrot?" will stand legendarily noted and quoted for years, years and years to come. I smell dead parrots BiMAs!
Ladies and gentlemen, I raise my glass of water, because folks, because I care! May our anniversaries be ruined!

Anyway, we've had our 'Citizen Kane of brickfilming', I just want to know when we're getting our 'AKIRA of brickfilming'.

I don't think he quite understands what Septemberfest is after all.
Let's not forget the stellar videogame adaption of The Citizen of the Year, The Citizen of the Year: The Game. When I took a break from playing this game, there was an inch of dust and three dead parrot skeletons on all my other games. Many happy hours.
