Hey, the results are out! (Amazing what all happens when you're gone for a week.)
First, congratulations to the winners! Ya'll had some fantastic films that were a joy to watch.
I was very impressed with the quality of the entries this year, and the amount of effort and love that went into each and every one.
Second, thank you judges for your hard work. Choosing the best ten films is quite a task, but ya'll did a great job.
Oh, and thanks for the 5th place spot!
I appreciate all the kind comments in the results chat, so sorry I couldn't join in.
Oh grog I thought the results chat was happening on Sunday so I totally missed it (this is the sort of thing University does to you, take note kids...).
Still really excited to see these results. There were some fantastic entries to this contest (wish I had been able to enter myself...). I'll definitely try to leave a comment or two on the entries if I can find the time.
Congratulations, everyone! There was a great line-up of films; it's so nice to see the summer contests return strong. I think it's interesting to note that all of the winning films do not contain dialogue. I think that's a good indicator that this contest was a success in promoting visual storytelling.
All prizes should be on their way! Thank you again to Dragonframe and Brickstuff!
