Topic: Fountain Support

Just discovered this screenwriting markup language called Fountain. You can check it out here: http://fountain.io

I was thinking that maybe whenever the website is upgraded, Fountain support could be added. This could be useful for when we are posting screenplays here on the site (like we did for the screenplay challenge). This is just a suggestion, though.

Re: Fountain Support

It's a neat idea. Writing our own support for fountain markup from scratch would be a lot of work, though. I wonder if there's a way to automate that using a preexisting web app of some kind?

Re: Fountain Support

Looking at the website, it looks like they have something called scrippets, which I believe to be a plugin for blogs and forum platforms like Wordpress and phpBB, so if we continue to use phpBB, I don't think it should be that hard.

There's also a JavaScript parser. https://github.com/mattdaly/Fountain.js

Re: Fountain Support

I think PunBB rather than PHPBB is what is currently used here. Regardless, I think it would be a pretty cool thing to have.
