Topic: 2015 Bricks in Motion Awards - Vote for the Viewer's Choice!

http://i.imgur.com/pfCRXET.pngg

This year, we're bringing back the Viewer's Choice! This allows the community to get involved and vote on their favorite film of 2015.

Nominations are now closed, and the voting may begin! Everyone has one week to vote for Viewer's Choice. The poll with close at 6 PM on Friday, April 29.

Check out the poll here: https://polldaddy.com/poll/9394969/

Every brickfilm that was nominated in the 2015 Bricks in Motion Awards will automatically be added to the Viewer's Choice poll, which will be posted in a few weeks. Right now, we're reaching out to see if community members would like to submit any additional films to the poll.

Rules:

Do not submit your own film.

Proposed films need the support of at least 3 separate forum members to be added to the poll. We don't want to clog up the poll with dozens of films!

Because everyone is voting, films by judges or that judges were involved in can be nominated for Viewer's Choice.

Films must have been released online within the year 2015.

The films you see in the categories below are listed in alphabetical order, and without any bias or favoring whatsoever.

I nominate MindGame's "Keep Going". It's one of my favorite films of 2015.

That film was released in 2013. The film must have been released in 2015.

Re: 2015 Bricks in Motion Awards - Vote for the Viewer's Choice!

My bad, I thought it was released last year, sorry. Another film I really enjoyed last year (and this is from 2015, I checked) is Aaron Fisher's "A Fixed System".

Sorry again!

Re: 2015 Bricks in Motion Awards - Vote for the Viewer's Choice!

I second "Keep Going" I thought that was a great one.  I'd also like to suggest "Storm-Trippin 2: A New Home". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fTS0ez47FHE

Re: 2015 Bricks in Motion Awards - Vote for the Viewer's Choice!

I third "Keep Going." Fantastic film, just watched it for the first time. I think it inspires us all to work towards doing better in our animations.

My profile picture is deep fried lol

I just watched it too. It's really nice, so I'll fourth it.

Re: 2015 Bricks in Motion Awards - Vote for the Viewer's Choice!

The Barney Bunny series by Gilead was received well by the community.
I also like the Technic videos by Dylan Woodley.
Mobdeli's Can't Stop Building needs a mention. Especially for its set design which were equal to the nominees for the official BiMa.
The Quiz by Twickabrick deserves to be on the list.

I don't know whether or not I should mention CG brickfilms.

my dad doesn't want me to brickfilm on because it's his computer, but he's not home right now at the moment.

Oh good heavens! Pritchard Studios' And Men Loved Darkness definitely deserves a mention. Beautiful cinematography; fantastic use of lighting; great sound design.

If you know ones that you feel deserve a nomination, then please do! CG brickfilms are brickfilms.

Re: 2015 Bricks in Motion Awards - Vote for the Viewer's Choice!

There wa a video, but I forget its name.  I think it was THE BUTTON.  A man tries to recover a lost love and uses a device to try to do so.  There were transformations when the button was pressed.  I thought it was beautiful and allegorical with a touch of humor in the right places.  Does anyone know if that's the right name?  I am terrible on names, but it was my favorite brickfilm of 2015.

I agree, so I'm gonna go ahead and nominate Barney Bunny Ep. 5 - A Hairy Encounter if I'm allowed to nominate two films.

And I'll third Rafael's "Case of the Year".
