Apparently LEGO is releasing a move maker set for the LEGO Batman movie (though due to it being the age of smartphones doesn't look like it has any tech with it, just a technic built stand for a smartphone).

Better than nothing I guess. Plus we get an official smartphone rig from LEGO.
Maybe now they'll have a stop-motion app for Android AND iOS! They killed off their previous iOS stop-motion app, so I guess this is why. Hopefully this one will be better.
The set is kinda meh. I wonder how the backgrounds will be. Hopefully decent, but probably waaay too detailed and Batman-themed (from the boxart, it looks to be).

This is a bit unrelated but since Rioforce mentioned the LEGO Movie Maker app...
From memory, I remember that app was originally designed to be used alongside the first wave of the LEGO DC Superheroes sets but they updated the app to suit general LEGO sets and films.
Looks interesting.
Doesn't seem to have many props other than a batman minifigure, though.
