Meanwhile, I'm reaching out to a few people who seemed tentatively interested or haven't yet responded, as I'd like to have as many current brickfilmers involved as possible, together in one video. Sort of a snapshot in time of BiM of this era; like a yearbook of sorts.
I'd like to get a brief count of what we can expect, so if you're working on a story or commercial to be included, please PM me (or reply to this thread) with:
1. Story or Commercial
2. Progress (script, storyboard, set building, animation, etc.)
3. Estimated final length
...and I'll start compiling a definitive list so we can see what we have. I think when this thing starts taking a more solid form, more people will be inspired to jump in and contribute. Like an infectious brickfilming disease... of love and charity and uh, goodwill towards minifigs.
UPDATE:
Thank you all for the great response on this project. I've been in contact with several of you, and I wanted to post an encouraging update of how the show is shaping up so far. The first list here are the ones that seem to be pretty solid in terms of commitment, so I'm counting them as "FOR SURE." The second list I'm calling "STRONG INTEREST" which are people who have expressed interest but haven't been able to confirm for sure. The third list includes people who initially showed some interest, as well as a couple people I'm personally calling to action. We'll call this third list "CALLING TO ACTION"
It looks like we have 6 stories for sure, possibly 7, as well as a few commercials locked in. It would be great to have a couple more stories, so if you're on the fence, hop on down! We also need a bunch more commercials, so if something short and simple fits better with your busy schedule, there are plenty of openings available.
