Topic: Mouth animation using Adobe Character Animator

Hey everyone! It's been a while.

I'll get straight to it: Does anyone know or have any experience using Adobe Character Animator in stop motion? It looks like a really useful tool, but I have no idea if it's even possible to bring your animation into the program and dub in you mouth movements, or how it really works. If anyone knows if this is possible, that'd be great! Thanks. mini/wink

Re: Mouth animation using Adobe Character Animator

I've not used it, but I know how it works. You'd make illustrator files of different mouth shapes and map them to the phonemes. In Adobe Character Animator, you dub your voice to it. Then you take that into After Effects and map it to a cylinder and track it so that it looks like it's on the head.

Of course, that's all a guess because I've not used any of those programs... mini/cat
