bump a lump (because this game seems pretty mint)
The gr8 Gatsby?
By the power of grey skull and the decree of Bricks In Motion word game ordinance #875, in appendix C, section 37.8 of 101 Better Things To Do Than Weep and Go To Sleep, I declare myself the winner of this round and the originator of the next.
Child with mommy and daddy issues commits theft, assault, battery, vandalism, and arson, then ends up learning not to judge a book by its cover and is somehow excused by law enforcement for his crimes because that's the way fairy tales work.

Movie? Book? Megamind?
M...movie. Well, first in a series of movies. More movies than should have been made of it, in which casting changes are poorly made in the latter movies because the original actors likely got wise and realized every darn movie was going to have the same basic plot. Of the batch, all except the first are either rotten or were so dismal that not enough reviews were gathered to issue a rottenness rating on RottenTomatoes.
Oh, and holiday movie. Originally, that is.
If that's any hint.
Of course, I could just say
sociopathic child successfully tortures two grown men
but that would give it away.
