Can't wait to watch the entries! I had a lot of fun working on THAC this year (missed skipping it last year), and was glad to have been able to collaborate with my brother on his film. Definitely something I can be proud of.
Looking forward to the next contest!

Judging will take place over the next couple of weeks. I will post in this thread when and where the results will be announced. Additionally, thanks to Chris W. for coming aboard as a judge. We now have a finalized panel of five judges!
Thanks for participating in THAC, everyone! Hope to see you all next year!
Edit: final count is 84 entries
Hi everyone!! First time here, but has been fun to try to improvise something in 24 h. Great!!
Good luck everyone!!!
Yes it is! 'Brickfilming community is dying' my foot.
So glad I was a part of it. Can't wait to watch the playlist this week. A lot of entries caught my eye, but I'll refrain. Gotta be fair to everyone.

I second that! The Brickfilming Community is well and truly ALIVE!
I had a lot of fun taking part and am currently making my way through the playlist. I've seen some great entries so far and can't wait to watch some more

Congrats on a great day of THACing, everybody! I can't wait to watch all the entries, I've only got to two so far and they were excellent. I was hoping to participate and even wrote a script but due to an emergency I had to forfeit. It would have been pretty funny too if I had the time, oh well, looks like you didn't need me anyway. I'll try again next year!

While it's a complex issue, I'll agree that it brickfilming is very much alive and well.
However, I've been shocked to see so little activity on the THAC films in Releases.
Several have a handful of comments, but the most is three, and many don't have a comment at all.
Granted, members here may simply be commenting on Youtube...

Fantastic idea Rio!
I was sad that we missed out on a "THAC production thread" this year, but the THACuentary thread is a great addition!

I'd had that thought as well! I've seen about half of the entries, there is some great stuff in there!
The numbers sort of surprised me a bit this year, even though brickfilming is always growing. I suppose word just gets around about THAC and Bricksinmotion in general, so I think we could break the 100 mark in entry numbers next year, if this growth continues.

Yeah, it's a bit sad to see nobody commenting here on the forums, but I think a lot of people are just binge watching the YouTube playlist and commenting over there. I've made a blog post to summarize which films can be found where so that it will be easier for people to find the films on the forums here. I'm slowly going through all the entries to comment on all of them, whether they're just on YouTube or submitted to the film directory/forums her as well. Here it is.
It's been such a good year for THAC not just in terms of number of entries, but also when it comes to the quality of the entries. Every one of the films deserves some recognition and feedback.

As far as I can tell that's what it is. That's kind of the problem when there are multiple places to provide feedback and I guess directly on the video is the easiest option. Not sure of a solution for that one.
Hey, everyone! The THAC XVI results will be announced next Saturday, January 19th, 2019 at 5:00 pm EST. I will be announcing the winners live on the Discord general voice chat channel. Following the live announcement, I will post a results thread here on Bricks in Motion.
Nice! Thank you judges for the remarkably fast work.
