Topic: I'm making the entire Bible into a LEGO movie!

Hey!
I am making a brickfilm of the entire Bible titled "The Bible: A Brickfilm"! Yes, the entire Bible, from Genesis till the end! Having a runtime of 3 hours, I think this will be one of the largest fan Brickfilms ever made, and will have a $40,000 budget. I'm working with a company that has funded 25% of the budget, but I still need to crowdfund an additional $30,000 in the next 36 days. Please check out my Indiegogo campaign to read more about the project, and if you believe in it, even a small gift will go a long way. I believe this movie will be significant to the history of Brickfilms. mini/smile Also, the plan is to translate it into many languages all around the world! My last movie, "The Passion: A Brickfilm" was a LEGO version of The Passion of the Christ and is being translated and distributed all around the world.

This doesn't seem even remotely realistic

$500 for VFX would cover almost nothing, and I have no idea how you would plan to cover 3 hours worth of sets for $200

This looks pretty cool! May I ask why $50 is the lowest tier? It seems like you could have more small donations if you had a 5, 10, and 20 tier reward.

Re: I'm making the entire Bible into a LEGO movie!

This seems like a really neat project! I'll be following it for sure.

However I do agree with Sloth, $500 for a VFX Artist on a 3-hour project (assuming you hire a professional) is ridiculous. That's maybe a day and a half of pay.

I've been working in Television for 2 years now and I'll go ahead and tell you it's always more expensive than you think.

You get what you pay for with VFX unless whoever you hire is just really committed to the project.

That being said good luck!
