Topic: Help with Vegas Pro 12.

I am trying to get Vegas setup to animate at 15 frames.
Now I have looked and looked for tutorials to help with this but have come across one video on Youtube that I watched and I followed all the steps by going into video preferences then editing then making the changes in some boxes until I got to where to change frame rate.
But when I did a walk test and threw it on timeline it seemed to be so slow.
If anyone has edited with Vegas could you please offer up any help on how to get this working?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Help with Vegas Pro 12.

There may be an easier and/or better way to do this, but this is how I get it done:

First, I go to file -> preferences

and make sure that the frame rate is set to either the standard of 30 (actually 29.something) or 24 (23.something). If you've got vegas pro, I think you can type in any number you want - like an even 30 or 24 fps.

After applying, I go to options -> preferences

Switch to the editing tab and you'll see "new still image length (seconds)"

Changing it to 0.066 works for me!

Then apply and and drop your frames in.

Just remember to have your export frame rate match your project frame rate (initial change under preferences) otherwise, you'll get uneven frame blending.

Hope this helps! mini/bigsmile

I understood everything up to the last part. The export and project frame I would find that in preferences?
Many thanks for your help as well.
Really appreciate it.

Re: Help with Vegas Pro 12.

Here's a short video tutorial I whipped up explaining how to set up Vegas Pro for stop-motion. (At least, the way I do it)
