This is my film for STEINEREI 2019, german brickfilmfestival.
winning best set design.
The theme of Steinerei 2019 was „Butter bei die Fische“ (Butter with the fish). A north German phrase for „Put up or shut up“.
A visit to a restaurant with the grandparents can be quite exhausting. The eternal waiting for the order. Grandma's constant questions about how things work in school and with the girls. And finally grandpas told stories from times when people still lived in caves. It's nice that the restaurant's own aquarium offers a little variety.
