Re: Café Corner

I was there once, and it was many years ago but from my memory, I think your trip would be better saved for when you have kids.

Re: Café Corner

Well...I'd forgotten I had even asked that question. mini/eh

Turns out we went anyway and boy howdy am I glad we did! The sights and sounds, the models and shops and rides were all top-notch! I was honestly blown away in the best way possible. While a few rides were too small/childish to catch my interest, most were still very enjoyable. The entire atmosphere of the park was thrilling and satisfying  and the park models and Miniland were incredible.

Sure, like any park, prices are exorbitant, but for a once in a lifetime event, it was totally worth it. I'm also kinda glad we could go at our own pace, (without having to drag kids along or hurry them up) it allowed us both to enjoy the park for what it offered without distraction.

I couldn't recommend it more.

Legoland always seemed like a fun place to go to. I would like to go sometime.

Re: Café Corner

Question for everyone. Who's your number 1 favorite brickfilmer who's NOT a Bricks in Motion member? And if you don't have a number 1 favorite then at least a top 5.

Mine is Michael Hickox. He was the reason I began and even learned about stop motion in the first place!

A lot of my favorite brickfilmers just aren't active anymore (or haven't been in years) but a lot of them actually do have underused Bricks in Motion accounts.

I guess my favorite non-BiM member brickfilmer would have to be Lewis Coleman. He made some great Johnny Thunder brickfilms that (along with BiM members Nathan Wells and Philip Heinrich's films) got me into brickfilming in the first place.

Check them out if you haven't already. I think they still hold up as great black-and-white (sepia tone) adventure serial homages.

I think mine is Brotherhood Workshop. I haven't seen a whole lot of their videos, but the ones that I have seen are awesome.
