Topic: Advice on cleaning non drying clay off baseplates?

A while ago, back when I didn't have sticky tac, I used non drying clay (bad idea) to secure baseplates to the table. I'm now left with small clumps and residue of the clay which has proven difficult to clean. I've tried brushes, a knife, tape, Windex, and soaking it in hot soapy water. While I'm able to get most of it off, there's still a noticeable amount left. What do you recommend I do?

Find the original baseplate mould, then melt the baseplate back into ABS plastic, and re-form it.
Foolproof, works every time.

Tried that and it worked like a charm. Thanks so much!

"Simple Green" might work. I once briefly worked in a picture framing factory for Michael's and Aaron Bros, and that was  what we used to clean up after the clay that hides the seams in picture frames.
