LEGO Shooting Test - With Visual Effects
Hey lads ! Small shooting test with visual effects, preparing for a big project.
Hi mate. This looks fine to me.
To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of of this kind of effect - I'd much rather see something physical in the frame. What could really improve the shot is some sort of physical light in the shot, replicating the light that would be coming from the muzzle flash. Those are just my thoughts though, and this does look absolutely fine.
Good luck with your project!
I like it
First of all, I welcome your channel to the Brickfilming community I want to say that the effects look great, and you even added smoke which a lot of Hollywood films have neglected.
If you really want to take it to the next level:
Flashlight (tinted yellow / orange) for each gunfire
Don't ease in. I know crazy. But as the gun fires, it moves up so fast after each shot that realistically you wouldn't see any of the ease in part at our frame rates. Thus, only ease in-out for the downward motion.
Lastly check this out if you haven't already. For too long, I never questioned my duel desk lamp setup. https://www.expandedcinematography.com/ movie.html
I look forward to your upcoming projects,
Zach
