Finding the Path (2014)
Finding the Path was created for Fancy Pants's "A Hero's Journey" contest in 2014. Rather than center on an obviously heroic character, I instead wrote this short around a character who has to decide to do the heroic thing, even when he doesn't want to.
I was pretty happy with how the action bits turned out. However the chroma keyed bits at the start were not great, and my efforts to speed through production made it more difficult to follow certain parts of the combat sequence.
