Topic: The 2008 Bricks In Motion Awards Nominations [CLOSED]
Hello everyone!
I am proud to announce the 2008 Bricks in Motion Awards! This event is an annual award presentation that recognizes brickfilms that do extraordinarily in many aspects of film and entertainment, these awards being for films made in 2008. The Bricks in Motion Awards are like the Oscars for brickfilms.
The past year has been enormously busy and chaotic; so many events like these have been prolonged. The beta testers and staff have rebuilt this award ceremony, tying it with the site, hence the name, Bricks in Motion Awards.
I will be organizing this year’s Awards, and with the help of the judges, have finished the nominee list for the 2008 Bricks in Motion Awards. Ballots were sent out to members who’d been invited to judge. They were to choose 3 films for each category that they felt deserved to be nominated for that specific category. The ballots were tallied up, and the top 4 films for each category became the nominee list, which is what is shown at the bottom.
CATEGORIES AND NOMINATIONS
The categories will be described along with their nominations. Judges have already been sent ballots for the winners; the ballots will be tallied up in one week, ten announced in the chat, (details farther down). The films are listed in alphabetical order, and are not ordered with any bias or favouring. The judges were not allowed to nominate their own film, as the awards were meant to be as fair as possible.
All films made in 2008 were eligible, though now that the directory is up and running, this may change for future awards.
