Also, thanks to Sméagol, VN, MindGame, and Yanzl for announcing some winners during the Live session.

Again, the winners were:

Unrenewable – Best Film
Attack of the Second Amendment – Best Animation
Unrenewable – Best Screenplay

Re: The 2008 Bricks In Motion Awards RESULTS (Video Posted)

Congratulations guys. I really loved all these films including Unrenewable, Bill Carney's Body, and the New Neighbor. Too bad I missed the livecast.

Re: The 2008 Bricks In Motion Awards RESULTS (Video Posted)

It was a honor to even have Moronic as a nomination, didn't see that coming.

Thank you NXT for all the work you put into this, and nice job with the short videos! Much thanks to all who participated, also.

Re: The 2008 Bricks In Motion Awards RESULTS (Video Posted)

I was really surprised to have won. I personally would have liked to see Le nouveau voisin win Best Screenplay, but I think there was a pretty even match.

Re: The 2008 Bricks In Motion Awards RESULTS (Video Posted)

Great job everyone! Especially Sméagol. I think I can safely say here that Unrenewable was one of the best films of the year.

You can do anything, just have fun while doing it.

Re: The 2008 Bricks In Motion Awards RESULTS (Video Posted)

Last night I couldn't watch the livecast because when the video started it was playing really
choppy. Do you have any idea why it was doing that.

Anyways congrats on all the people who won an award although I wish KG had won one his
film was funny mini/lol

Re: The 2008 Bricks In Motion Awards RESULTS (Video Posted)

This is weird because in my next film there is a joke that 'Unrenewable' is overrated. Obviously this is meant to be ironic considering it won FAR and everything. But I'm worried that people will now think I'm expressing my veiw.

Though 'Unrenewable' is a joy to watch at the least - I always think its a bit unfair when someone wins that many awards. I know Smeagol had no influence on the judging, and I'm not attacking Smeagol for just being good. No-one can help being so good...

Re: The 2008 Bricks In Motion Awards RESULTS (Video Posted)

I don't have a complaint that Smeagol won lots because it'd be wrong to give a film of less quality the award because Smeagol already had some awards.

Congrats to all the winners, especially to Sméagol- Unrenewable really deserved it.

Re: The 2008 Bricks In Motion Awards RESULTS (Video Posted)

I noticed in the Announcement box it says "BiMA Awards results have been announced". Shouldn't it just be "BiMA results have been announced" or "BiM Awards results have been announced"?

Oh yeah, that would make it "Bricks In Motion Awards Awards results have been announced."

Anyway, congrats to all the nominees and winners, and thanks to NXT, Smeagol, SlothPaladin, all the judges and everyone else who made this happen.  Looking forward to the 2009 awards!

Re: The 2008 Bricks In Motion Awards RESULTS (Video Posted)

congrats to smeagol, and everybody else who won something (if somebody else won something (joke))...also, I think we need more awards...

Re: The 2008 Bricks In Motion Awards RESULTS (Video Posted)

All right, Philip. Next year you're gonna sweep them all with Space Opera, right?
