Firstly, this is just a trailer and I'M NOT MAKING the whole film, that would take forever. This film was made as the practical part of my Unit 3+4 VCE Media course, which is part of my upper-high-school studies. I wanted to do an animation since they're my speciality (of course) and I knew I wanted to do something dark and gothic. I decided to make a film adaption of a piece of gothic fiction literature, and since Frankenstein had already been done in LEGO I decided to do Dracula, which is another very famous gothic horror novel. I knew from the beginning that it would be nigh on impossible to condense the plot of Dracula into a few minutes, so I decided to make a trailer instead. It was filmed in about a month, but the buying of bricks and pre-planning happened for months before that. Since I finished in a rush I'm not too happy about the music in some parts, but it'll do. The film was shot with a Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 and Stop Motion Pro, and edited with Adobe Premiere and After Effects CS3.

Re: Dracula

A bit more stuff:
This film features the voice acting talent of our very own Bert "BertL" Loos!
Here are some productions pics. mini/smile
EDIT: And we had a screening of our films at school, and mine won the prize for Best Picture! mini/bigsmile I'm actually kind of surprised, there were two live action films which were polished and made really well, and I thought one of them might win it.

Re: Dracula

Awesome Whittleberry. The lighting was great and so was the quality.

10/10

Re: Dracula

Dear Whittleberry
This was a verry imposant trailer.
Ok, I missed some scary scenes, but in fact to the original story of Bram Stokers Dracula it is not a "must be"

You use the 9k?
Please tel me, which is the highest resolution of picture-quality?
I´m thinking about to get one to instead of filming with the Canon.
Can you upload a Frame shooten with the 9k???

Best wishes,
Mario

Re: Dracula

I really enjoyed this.
The visuals are excellent, the voice acting well done, and the story executed without a hitch.
This is one worth downloading.
