I'm fed up with searching around the net for a specific sound effect that I need desperately 
So I realized that if I cant find one, I'll make one, and I was very pleased with my results 
If you have made a custom sound effect than post it here, no doubt someone will use it in one of there films!

oops, sorry.
I really liked that, Jon. I've lately done some of my own sound effects lately for my films, usually because I cannot find sounds of the quality I would like to have. I actually compiled a .zip archive full of punch sound effects that you can download at here. If you like them, feel free to use them in your films.

Jon, that's pretty nice, I might use that if you don't mind. I too have been creating my own sounds, though I haven't been doing much of it recently...
Here is one that was originally created for a walk cycle, but just didn't fit. It could be used for multiple objects, like a suction thing or something.

awesome sound effects!
I haven't done it on my new computer yet, but pouring out a small amount of lego bricks onto the floor from about 3 feet up, makes a great glass shatter sound.
