I recently made a photoshop tutorial showing how to make a lightsaber effect in photoshop. You can use this to edit your videos frame by frame, but it is easy because after the first frame, you only need to make a white line in the next frame.

P.S: My mic made my voice sound distorted, so don't make fun of me! 
It's a good tutorial, just the way he was holding the lightsaber was err...
