Re: BrickFM

I've listened to your podcast. It was actually the first I ever listened till the end. I like what you guys were talking about and heads up I'm looking forward to your next show.

Re: BrickFM

The second episode is out. We had some technical difficulties while recording it, and Binding Brick's internet went out for a while towards the end, so we had to end it kind of abruptly.

Re: BrickFM

At the moment I'm actually in a coffee shop using the internet. My satellite that gives me internet was struck by lightning.  Hopefully it will be fixed before the next episode.

Re: BrickFM

I found this podcast really enjoyable, Keep it up! My only critisism is just to sound a tiny bit more enthusiastic mini/wink

Also out of interest, I was wondering if you were considering getting the podcast on to iTunes? Because that's where I get all my podcasts from and I'm sure others do the same.

If you were interested I could set up a system where a link to the episode is posted to a blog and a site called feed burner 'pings' it to iTunes (or you could do it yourselves) mini/smile

I haven't really thought about this, but it sounds like a good idea. I'll see what I can do.

Re: BrickFM

I think Binding Brick was out of town this weekend, so we weren't able to record. We are planning on recording the fourth episode next week, though. mini/smile

Re: BrickFM

Episode 4 is out!

I apologize for the delay in the release of this episode. It was considerably longer than usual and my editing software apparently couldn't handle the file size, so I had to edit it all over again after the first version got corrupted.

Re: BrickFM

The interesting thing about a lot of the sets/armies is that a lot of them are a lot smaller than you'd think. I think the biggest set was the large gate the army goes through. Obviously when I watch it I just think about that, but it's good to know that the sense of a large scale actually works.

Glad you liked it.

Re: BrickFM

On-topic: I have to say I really like this broadcast, but it would sound more professional if you planned out what current events you were going to talk about before you start recording. It sounded like you talked a little about it, but didn't really plan it out all that well. That also goes for the part when you talked about set lighting - you were sort of throwing out tips, and they could have been better organized.

Like I said, I do really like this podcast and I will continue awaiting each episode!

He was talking about his film Hastings, which we reviewed in this week's episode.

Thanks for the tips. We'll try to make the future episodes more organized and interesting.

Re: BrickFM

Hey. I enjoy listening to these quite a bit. I don't really have any crits or anything. I actually don't mind how you do it now, but getting it more organized and interesting is fine with me. mini/smile
I had never heard of that brickfilm Hastings before! It was really good to. I think one it's strongest points was the fact that it actually felt more "expansive" than most brickfilms. I generally don't like just paper as a background, but for some reason, it was actually really nice in this film. Some of the lighting was quite nice also.
