That was really good!  The animation was pretty good, choppy in a couple spots, but overall good.  The sets were good and the story was great.  I really liked transition with the cup and the facial animation.  Keep up the good work.

Re: Time for $ale

The production values in your film were very high.  There was much attention to detail.  I would be pleased if you posted the dialogue in English here, so I know exactly what is happening.  I was interested in watching because I am scripting a story that I conceived in the 1990s, called "Buy Tomorrow".  I think it's a similar concept: a person buys time at a store.  The plot is much different, though.  You did a fine job making this cartoon.

Holding, it had subtitles, but you have to turn them on by clicking the cc button.

Re: Time for $ale

The sets were the strongest part, though the writing was also pretty good.  The animation was the weakest aspect however.  Because it was a bit choppy most of the time.  Overall this is a very good brickfilm that has convinced me to watch your other brickfilms.

Okay.  I d/l the movie and watched it so there were no markups.  YouTube had a 60-second ad preceding it and I always download when I see these to avoid the ads.

Even though the animation is it's weakest point doesn't mean it's bad. This is the smoothest animation I've seen in a while. And even if it is a little choppy, it gets the story across extremely well!

Good job, sir! I truly enjoyed your video!

I didn't think it was very bad.

I never said the animation was bad.  I just said it was the weakest part.

Thanks again  mini/smile
I can see how that was meant. Well, I will try to make animation less choppy next time  mini/cat

Re: Time for $ale

I'm very impressed by the quality of the writing and the pacing, not to mention some of the nicely-timed visual gags you included. While on the technical end there's nothing especially outstanding (though the facial animation is nicely effective), you show a great attention to detail (for example, I loved the bell on the door of the shop. It's a minor throwaway detail that gives a kind of liveliness to the setting).

Excellent job, a very enjoyable little short!

Re: Time for $ale

It's a creative idea with good visuals and voice acting, with a punchline that feels like something out of a fortune cookie. Also, the music at the beginning, along with the mouth animations, helps the story flow a lot like if you were watching a cartoon, let alone a brickfilm. Nice job!

Have you seen a big-chinned boy?

Re: Time for $ale

This is absolutely great! Loved the concept, the sets and the cinematography.
