Topic: Lego Cops

I've finally released my brickfilm, well, it's not really a brickfilm, it's merely an excuse for not having to put each scene in the test forum, lol. mini/tongue

The storyline (if you can call it that) isn't very great, I made it all up as I went along (which is why the voice acting is rubbish).

In this brickfilm I tried out some camera movements (all stop motion, which is obvious I think) and some masking. It worked out pretty well imo.

Anyway, here's my brickfilm:

Enjoy. mini/smile

Re: Lego Cops

Ya, the storyline was pretty random, but I thought your animation and camera movements were really quite good.  The scene with the the guy on the bike looked quite realistic, and the masking was very good. mini/smile

Re: Lego Cops

Cool.
How do you make your video's be HQ When i start it instead pushing it? mini/wink
You have som cool video's.

Add &fmt=18 to the end of the YouTube URL.

I'm very impressed with this. It's not often you'll get a person that is a skilled brickfilmer straight away.

Lmao thanks for the compliments. mini/bigsmile <3

Re: Lego Cops

Random, but very nicely implemented mini/smile. Good job.

Re: Lego Cops

I liked this a lot. It had its drawbacks (the randomness for example didn't really fit), but technically it was fine. I loved the way you handled the voice acting. Really interactive and real. For example, when the cat arrives, it's like "wait, don't... [kapow] shoot the cat".

Re: Lego Cops

I'm sorry but it seems that my post was deleted.

I believe I posted something like:

"You are the like the best noob ever."

When I say this I do not mean it in a bad way, (as someone obviously thought) I simply mean that you are new to brickfilming.

So just to clarify, what I said was a compliment.

Re: Lego Cops

Ye I've read your post and I took it as a compliment (was kinda obvious imo). mini/smile

Re: Lego Cops

That was great. Random, but it was funny and realistic, especially the scene on the bike.
You've got to show me how you did the bike. mini/eek

You can do anything, just have fun while doing it.

Re: Lego Cops

It doesn't have to have a set storyline, it's pretty much improv brickfilming, I couldn't find any drawbacks.

Re: Lego Cops

I thought it was great, I can't critisize it because my films arn't better then it.

Don't be fooled, my avatar is a facade of conformity.

Re: Lego Cops

Awesome.
I am surprised at how fast you became a good brickfilmer!

Re: Lego Cops

For your second brickfilm that was awesome! A bit random but very lolable.
The motorbike part was sweet with the wheels spinning out mini/bigsmile

Definitely one of my favorites.

Where did you get the bullet impact effects?

Re: Lego Cops

They're made with photoshop. mini/smile
