Topic: Importing Word Docs Into CeltX?

So I just set up an account on CeltX for scripting, and I was wandering if I can importing anything I write in word. I'm planning to do some writing during a 5 hour car ride with no wifi and I want to move them over to CeltX when i'm back.

Re: Importing Word Docs Into CeltX?

Is that the cloud version or the stand alone installation?

I haven't checked but I doubt there is an import.  A copy/paste would be a be laborious but totally do able.  I'd use a plain text editor like Notepad or Wordpad so the copy/paste is clean.  MS Word tends to do a lot of hidden stuff to your text which sometimes affects porting into other programs.

Edit: I just checked the standalone installation.  It has an import text function.  I didn't try it.  MS Word is technically not text so again - use Word/Note pad.

You should be able to copy and paste, but the formating might be a little messed up, still should be easier than the time I transcribed a scipt from a notebook, although you could find an old version on free CeltX that works off line
