I thought that the ending bit was funny.  Particularly how swift it was.

The walk-cycle could use a little more easing in and out in the step to transition in to the next stud, though.  I'm not sure if the explosion was meant to be cheesy for comedy's sake or not.  But in the future, you might try something different like animating it in-shot, which can be quite fun.  Using some cotton balls and shining some lights you can make a pretty neat explosion.
