Hello! Recently, I have been going through my Lego display sets and discovered that the the light blue bricks on the building of my Medieval Market Village (10193-1) have become discolored. I found a video posted by Jangbricks and his solution seemed good. Here it is:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HGagdufGvGM If you did have this issue, how did you solve it? I would like to know other methods if any.

I never did. I own many Lego parts fromt e 1970s made of Samsonite. I never considered doing anything about it.
Thanks for sharing. I intentionally use the old faded hand-me-down bricks for textural effect. In this recent clip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JGw_X5ZZ7ho I intentionally put some of the more faded bricks behind the woman with red hair, to keep her hair from disappearing into the wall.
I tried Jangbrick's method a few years ago, and it worked for me, especially on white bricks. I don't know how it worked on colored pieces because I didn't have a direct comparison of soaked vs. un-soaked, though.
I generally don't bother with discoloured bricks (luckily 99% of the pieces form any of my sets that came out after all the colour changes haven't discoloured, and those that have aren't very noticeable). Besides, as thistof said, they can be useful (especially the old greys) to add textures to buildings. I also watched that same video, and I reckon that would be the best method.
Thank you all for the comments! I am still trying to decided whether it is worth it or not. The texture does look a little weird though. 
It depends on the setting as to how useful texture is. It can be very useful for somewhere ancient and disused like an old castle, or somewhere which is not well looked after. However, I would suggest thinking about what you are going to use the discoloured pieces for. Depending on what the bricks look like when they are discoloured, it might look like as if the market village is run down, in which case you can keep it as it is. However, if you don't like the look of it, and you think it might affect the way/number of ways you can use them in the future, then go ahead. Of course, you could do a bit of both and leave a few of the bricks discoloured 
Actually, the strange part about this is that only some of the bricks are discolored on the same face of the building. Not all of them are like that, so it does look like some sort of old building.
