Topic: Robbin' Hood - Casting Call
Hi guys,
I need a few voice actors for my upcoming short: Robbin' Hood.
There are only three speaking roles and they all need to be filled hopefully this week.
If anybody wants to audition to voice-act for this film then you are a very welcome to do so.
I've included a brief description of the way I envision the characters in their expressions to help with portrayal. Below the descriptions are a sample line from them taken from the script.
Character 1: Robin Hood
Robin is a very confident and well spoken man. When he speaks he is very bold and is straight to the point. His accent is of a common British nature.
Line: "You're in Sherwood Forest, home to I, --Robin Hood and my friends".
Character 2: Nobleman
This noble man is a very wealthy man, within his meeting with Robin, he becomes nervous and frantic when he speaks. Though his voice is of wealthy nature, it doesn't overpower his anxiousness when approached by Robin. Again, preferred British accent but open to other renditions.
Line: "I am an honest man, I made my riches through trade and I donate every month.--I've gave a lot of money to the poor come to think of it".
Character 3: Judge
The Judge is a very calm, and direct character. His voice authoritative, to which Robin can not talk over. As with the Nobleman a British accent is preferred though, I am open to other choices.
Line: "You have absolutely no right to this man's money --Mr. Hood".
