Topic: CC Cylinder Question

Does anyone know if there’s a way to edit the shape of the CC Cylinder effect in AE? I’m using it for mouth animation, and whenever I have a face that covers the bottom-most part of the head, it is not attached to the face at that spot, because the head is not a perfectly square cylinder; it is rounded at the top and bottom. I was wondering if there’s a way to create this rounding to the cylinder. Thanks.

Re: CC Cylinder Question

It might be not possible to change the cylinder shape in AE. But from my point of view it should work pretty well with the cylinder shape, because the print of the minifig head is only at the cylinder part and not at the rounded part.

I have done the turning head and the slightly changing mouth using AE in the following video:

Nevertheless you should avoid facial animation at a very sharp view angle.
