I like the messy feel of the room! That’s sometimes hard to do in Lego, but you nailed it.
As an artist, I can totally identify with the artist not being pleased with his own work, yet finding inspiration through displaying it to others. That's a great message for brickfilmers.

The marker facial expressions are a nice touch too.

That being said, this short scared me. I thought my headphones had broken. There isn't any sound after the record is knocked off. No sound, no music, no nothing.  After a second or two of silence, some ambient noise/music would have been nice. I know THAC can get crazy, but it wouldn't have taken long to add another music track for the last half.
