So some of you peeps may have seen my Monsters, Inc/300 trailer mashup. Well, I just cranked out a new one... this one a combination of Watchmen and The Incredibles! Check it out!

:ontopic: I like it, but not as much as the Monsters 300 one. This didn't work as well because there wasn't much speech, but sounds effects were synced perfectly.

Dave! You're back! How's a going? And how's the college course and all? And by the way that's nice. I did prefer the Monsters 300 one though.

Haha yes, It's me. Yeah, I've goten that a lot, the whole "I liked the Monsters Inc one better", and I'd have to agree. There was more editing to deal with, and to a degree, it was way more of a challenge. Overall, I think I was just trying to make The Incredibles look way more mature and dark, and try to elaborate on the similar plot lines in the two (vigilantes banned, wiping out masked heroes... all that jazz)

Personally, I thought this was splendiferously done. I think I enjoyed this more than the Monsters, Inc. one, but I'll need to see it again to make that final decision.
The Monsters Inc. one definitely looked more difficult to make, but I liked this one better. It's amazing how well the clips match up. Nice job.

I agree with Nick and Zach, But I don't see the reason why to compare.
@ Everyone screaming my name: lol! Yeah, I'm back, but not really as a hardcore member anymore. I think I'll just lurk a little bit, leave feedback on a few films, you get the drift. I'm not gonna be able to make any Brickfilms for a while. Maybe this summer if I get around to it.
@ LBJ: Awesome! Simply amazing. This quarter is incredible... my Ainimation 1 teacher worked at Disney as an effects animator for 13 years, so I'm learning from a true master. He's also my majors adviser, so in two years he'll be overseeing progress on my senior thesis film, which is mind-blowingly awesome. You still looking at SCAD? Cause you should. It's super duper flooper.
And thanks for the compliments, guys! Really means a lot! I think I'm gonna make more of these... maybe Cars with the Speed Racer trailer?
