When you say it must contain some actual footage, does it have to be video footage, or is it OK to be only stills. Also, does that footage have to appear in the actual video, or can it just resemble the actual video.
I have a short teaser clip made to put into the trailer! *Off topic*
Hey Smeagol, I can't assess the coffee shop or war room anymore. Did I do something to get me banned from it?

Never mind...
I just noticed that when I logged on, and I thought I was banned from it.
Mine is uploading right this minute!
Can I put my trailer in the releases section?
(Sorry for the double post)
Can I put my trailer in the releases section?
Entries can be submitted any time beginning July 10.
I wouldn't post it yet...
Can I post mine at about 11pm tonight? I'm not going to have access to a computer for about a week, starting tomorrow morning.
i'm in!!!!
No, Sméagol's first post says the same content restrictions as the actual contest apply to this.
Because I got the question in chat: unlike the main contest, multiple entries by the same person are not permissible for this contest. Mostly because winners will be decided by user voting, so we don't want too many entries for voters to look through.
I'll be away from a computer at the time of the deadline, so I can't answer any more questions on this contest, but it should be pretty straightforward at this point. Make sure to post your entries in the "Releases" forum at some point, since voters will need to be able to see them. Voting will probably begin on the 19th or so and continue until the main contest deadline.
Hi, I've only just signed up with a view to entering the competition and I saw this post. I'm just wondering whether I have to enter this as well or whether it's optional, because I haven't started animating yet?
