Assassin's Lego - Episode IV: The Chase

http://YouTube

It's amazing: in just three days I've made more than half video. In this fourth episode our 'Assassin' has to rescue a prisoner who goes to the jail escorted by police. Excuse me for the sound (I know I could have worked harder), but I was in a hurry to finish the video. Comment and rate. Enjoy it!

Light flicker, the quality was a bit meh.

That was like the most non-constructive comment ever.

Re: Assassin's Lego - Episode IV: The Chase

I love how you have a large set, but you make it look much bigger by repeating scenes. Nice job mini/bigsmile

I loved from 2:43 to 2:57. More acrobatic shots like that would've been great.

Me too. Like said before, there was the lights flickers, and the sets are too repetitive, but they are very big! I like the choice of the music, and the action is pretty well made. The animation is correct, smooth a few times. In overall, It's good mini/smile 3.5/5!

Re: Assassin's Lego - Episode IV: The Chase

2:34-3:00 made me inspired to brickfilm. Great job. Some technical aspects were off, light flicker, some parts were much too slow, but very good! Great job, again. 4/5

Persist.

GRACIAS. mini/smile mini/smile

Re: Assassin's Lego - Episode IV: The Chase

I must say, this is one of the better action Brickfilms I've seen lately. For one it makes a break from Star wars! I wasn't expecting anything good in particular, and the first few titles done in iMovie reassured me that it would be bad, however since the chase started I was enthralled. The quick pace and good camera tracking were very sweet, and I can see you tried to ambitious many times, succeeding many times in doing so as well. The animation was slightly jittery, but overall didn't effect the mood - the main problem in the film is the light flicker and picture quality, and it ain't a minor flaw either.

However all in all I was highly entertained, and isn't that the main thing a film should do? So all and all I found this exciting, enjoyable, and well done, even though in technical terms this failed.

I'll be back animating soon! Exams and computer faults are keeping me away </3

Thank you for your comment. I know that my animation has many light flickers, what should I do to avoid them?

Now that I couldn't tell you as I myself don't really know, however it seems to be that you'll find your own way of blocking them, as different things work for different people. Experiment around and I'm sure you'll find something! Keep up the good work.

You could of just said 6.5/10...

Re: Assassin's Lego - Episode IV: The Chase

Re: Assassin's Lego - Episode IV: The Chase

That was the best action non-star wars brick film I have ever seen!:D
