Mosquito´s Fault

This an entry to the Septemberfest contest!

I had to rush my entry a lot, my schedule of work was pretty unbalanced. Schedule:
1st week: Scripting
2nd week: Animating, but only on the weekend
3rd week: Same as in the second week
4th week: Animating and editing all the time!

Now I´m glad I´ve finished, so go and spread this video mini/bigsmile

I personally liked the Close up of the skin, the scale was very good. I disliked the sudden pauses. But there wasn't many of them anyway.

I throughly enjoyed this. It was a very original idea, if not original in techniques. The animation was pretty good, and I liked the time switch overs, however towards the end it kinda suffered. Mainly because of the rule against dialogue, nevertheless, I understood it without having to think that much. The lighting in some places was kinda dark, and you couldn't see everything, but it was overall highly entertaining.

Sound: 6/10
Music: 4/10
Animation: 6/10
Effects: N/A
Plot: 6/10
Cinematography: 5/10
Overall: 27/50 (Due to the N/A category)

The only problem was when the animated mosquito briefly came into the scene. It didn't really match, it would have been better to just use a small black stud.

LegOpinions, maybe it was dark because it was night. mini/tongue Also, no rating for me?

Okay, I have a question for you guys: Should I let this on Youtube, or should I work on a few things, like the mosquito? If so, I´m going to add a scene at least.

I´m very proud of this, and even if this is good, I want to make it better, that everyone gets the pointe.

I watched it full screen and liked it, but I had to watch it three times to finally figure out the ending (I hope).  It was also a bit confusing that the brown-haired guy's hair became so black at night.  He was hard to keep track of!  Other than that, it was a creative story with nice effects.

Sure, if you want to add more to it, go ahead.  It can never hurt to improve a film.  I'll watch it.  mini/smile

A very funny entry, I love the part where the mosquito bites him, just great.  Easily understandable after two or three watches, and simply well animated.  My only complaint is the little cartoon mosquito, it could have gone without that.
