Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread
I don't know what kind of "canister" you're talking about. Could you show me a picture?

I think he means the 1x1 cylinder piece.
Ah. I'll try that, and maybe post a picture here later.
Double post. Didn't think I'd be able to do anything for awhile, otherwise I wouldn't have made the previous post.
Well, I didn't have enough of the cyliders, but then I had the idea of making my current fence look a little less fancy by making it brown, and using "brick bricks."
It almost seems a bit dark now, but maybe that's just the contrast from the old bright fence.
Those brick bricks are much better! Where did you get those anyway, I've never seen them before
Well, I got a bunch from two Ninjago sets (They are used on the shrines holding the snake staffs): Venomari Shrine (6 or 7 I think) and Jay's Storm Fighter (4 I believe). Then I ordered about 15 or so from Bricklink to have on hand for times like this. I luv'em.
Yup. Anyway, I added a chimney. I thought that regular 1x1 bricks looked better than the cylinders:

Good call. I don't see many cylindrical chimneys and for your style of house the 1x1s fit in perfectly.
This is a set that I have been working on for a couple of days. I am really proud with how it came out. Tell me what you guys think http://www.flickr.com/photos/80285393@N03/8231575158/.
@Ttown, WHOA! The set design is amazing, but what really struck me is the lighting. Very dynamic, and the shadows look great.
THanks so so much that means alot to me!!!
Ttowns how did you get the light under or in the fireplace?
ok made a short video to explain how I did the lights link right here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NApHb9b05hc
King Tut's Hideout for I Am The Night.
And here are all of the thugs in the scene.
(Philip is best thug)
I wonder who Philip is... (:P)
Awesome set, but be careful about using those buildings too many times for backgrounds, someone might notice.
