Re: Post your logo here!
Thanks. I kinda like vectoring.

Looks great!
@ThunderfilmStudios Oooooh, nice! I love the use of negative space, how the lettering follows the contours of the hat, and just how minimalist it is as a whole. My only issue with the logo is the moustache, which I think should maybe just be straight black without any negative space brown parts, mainly because I find it hard to see against the yellow words. Very good.

Thanks. Yeah, I wasn't completely sure about cutting out the mustache... I believe it was, in the end, my sisters who convinced me to finalize it the way it is. xP
Got it working! I made this in Paint.NET origionally, it showed a clay man because at the time, I was doing claymation. Later, when I got into brickfilming, I changed the clay man into a minifigure. Now this theme (red background, Julia Fractal, the Segoe UI Light font) has kind of become Lavamation`s icon.

It's a Facebook image, and set on friends only.
Use Flickr, that way everything thing is nice and public.
Would there be any way to post it without it being online?

Imgur man! Unless you have an account all images you upload are private. As long as it's not a GIF you can upload files as big as you want! Also, you use Paint.net. I'd recommend switching to Gimp, as it's got more features and is free as well!
Wow John, that's great looking! I really love your vector work.
I guess I'll toss my logo into this thread. I created it back in October. I'd like to refine and update it at some point.

I like it Caveman, it would be really cool if it was animated.
Here's a logo I did for my banner for the new YouTube channel design we're being forced to use. I like a simple logo design, but it still feels like it's missing something. Anyone have any suggestions for something I could do around the outside? This is my first try at any sort of graphic design, so suggestions are appreciated.
Not bad for an initial concept. The fence is great. I'd suggest for a cleaner and nicer looking logo, have "Backyard Legos" be ontop of the fence, perhaps a bit bigger and more stylized. A drop shadow can help it stand out from the fence. Another thought... seeing as you are rebranding sort of, perhaps now would be a good time to branch out from "LEGO" in terms of your name. This could provide for more freedom as far as what artistic work you do in the future without having to create a totally new brand, unless you want to do that. The whole "backyard" and fence thing could work quite well overall, but perhaps change it so that "LEGO" isn't mentioned. Just a thought of course. No need to do that if you just plan to keep on with LEGO under that name.
I like the idea of removing the LEGO from the name, I'll think about that. The original idea of the words being behind the fence was that they are sort of "in the backyard" although it might look better with the words in front of the fence, I'll try it out; thanks for the advice. Also, on YouTube the graphic looks sort of fuzzy, does anyone know what I can do to fix that? Here's my channel so you can see what I mean: https://www.youtube.com/user/backyardlegos

Probably due to the dimensions of the image. If it is not already, upload an image that is the largest YouTube recommends, or it could be due to YouTube trying to compress the image too much.
That's what I thought, but I uploaded one at YouTube's recommended size, and it didn't seem to work, I suppose I could try going bigger.
