I really like these, especially the wide range of colours. I'm not sure how well it would look next to LEGO's leaf elements, since it looks quite different, but it would be ideal for a fantasy or surreal minimalistic setting.

Those look awesome ANP, and I really like the tree design in general; I have a forest scene in a film I'm working on, I might try using plates for leaves, although it won't be bright fall colors, the mood would be all wrong. Great job.
The trees are great. I love brick-built everything.
This is Digbot. I have no idea what to use him for, but thought I'd upload him anyway. Basically, he's a robot designed for digging tunnels, if the name didn't give it away.
He's kind of supposed to look like he has mole-arms, and I liked the idea that the Wolverine claws act as a kind of grill, like on the fronts of really old cars.
I really like how you used the wolverine claw for the face plate.
The first thing I thought when I saw those arms was "mole claws" even before I read the description, so great job on that! I also really like the face-plate idea. I think that a 1x1 "headlight brick" would be better that the clip to hold it place, though.
I made a great load of possible THAC sets.
Medieval interior:
It could be easily decorated to fit most colour mods or to be different parts of a castle such as a throne room a bed room or whatever. I built some really cool corners and reused the stained glass window I built during BRAWL which I hadn't yet deconstructed. I also put some random detail on the floor.
(I guess you could say I'm cutting corners by building sets in advance. He he he he he he)
Dark dungeon:
It could be used as a castle's dungeon or perhaps a villain's lair. I've been really wanting to have a story that starts in a prison like an Elder Scrolls game, and I love over-the-top villains with awesome lairs.
Scifi interior:
This would work well as either a spaceship or a moon base. Out of all of them, I think I like it best and I've been really wanting to make a scifi film.
I also have the Autumn forest, an I am the Night set from Gotham, and a light grey landscape under construction which should be done soon.
A think I have a generally well-rounded selection. And even if my story doesn't suit any of these, I can always build one during the contest. Doing this put me in a delightful building mood because I've been building so many sets at once.
I am so pumped.

Squid these are badass. I don't think I can match those.
I...I don't know what to say. Those are amazing, even if you don't use them for THAC, I hope those get used for something, they deserve to be treasured forever in film form.
That sci-fi interior is incredible! The space is used so well, and I love all the beams and pipes on the walls. The lighting in the dungeon is amazing too, particularly the orange glow through the bars. I look forward to a potential return from Ouskavar. And you built all three at the same time? How do you have so many bricks?
I realy like the glow behind the gate and the space set
THESE SETS ARE SO BEAUTIFUL THEY MAKE ME WANT TO BURST INTO TEARS

THAC could be the potential return of anyone. I have no idea. I probably won't use Ouskavar unless the colour mod is beige and brown, beige and black, or if it's something really easy to place in the background. I'm planning to base the characters and setting of the film on the colour mod then think up a story which goes with the theme. Colours are a very important thing in my films, and I'd hate to have to disrupted by an out-of-place mod element, so instead of adding it it must be based around it.
(Though, going with Ouskavar is a risky move since most people find it difficult to begin a word with that vowel. As far as I know, there is no word in the English language which begins with the same sound unless you pronounce "us" with a certain type of British accent where the typical U sound is replaced with the vowel sound in "hood")
I've been getting LEGO sets since 1997. I spend my money on little else when I get any. That is the trick. But I also use several techniques to make it seem like I have more bricks than I actually posses. For instance, I might use some sort of special brick as a regular brick by facing the awkward looking side away from the nice side of the wall. I also use a lot of filler bricks with colour that I don't plan on using until the set is dismantled.
Even if I don't use these, it's all good practice. I'll probably use a similar design to the space set if I ever get around to my scifi brickfilm plans.
Ok...And just when I was so proud of my sets....
Every time I think that you've gained a new height, you go and break that record. Your sets are simply amazing Squid.
We've already seen similar dungeons from you before, (Though these are very, very good) but it's the sci-fi base that really stands out. Please, please make the film use that set.
Squid, I have no words except for those are probably the most beautiful sets I've ever seen for a brickfilm *sniffles and tears up*
The lighting is really awesome, I love the blue glow in the space one.
If I had to use one word to describe the sets, it would be supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.
Wow, guys, you're going crazy about some stuff I just hastily cobbled together for THAC. I'm having trouble imagining what your reactions will be to the sets in The Absorbent Old Man, Vampire Cinema, and A.I. (A.I. is my secret film, it's nothing to do with artificial intelligence, but that's just what I call it. What it is is a secret, the fact that I'm making it is not).
BTW, the scifi set was actually the most fun and easy to build. It also loos the best. Scifi is a good way to go.
Just thinking - the dungeon gate, the sci-fi gate and the stained glass window are all very portal-like - could all 3 sets end up in the same film?

He he, I guess so.
The doorway in the scifi set is supposed to be a teleporter. so that people might be zapped down to the moon-ish set or something. I was also considering having every room in the ship look the same, but with different furnishings, but rather than waste space with hallways, they just teleport to whatever room they want. That way all I'd need to build for the rest of the ship would be some other props.
