Topic: (CLOSED) Casting Call - "Silantro"
This is a moderately urgent casting call. By this, I mean that I want to have some voices within the next month so that I can begin sending out screenplays and storyboard animatics.
The series is currently slated to have either six or seven episodes. If you are chosen, you will have to be able to commit to the entire series, unless the character's description states otherwise.
You are allowed to audition for multiple characters, but if you are chosen, it will only be for one character, so as to make all the characters' voices completely distinctive in the series.
Medium-high to high quality recording equipment is a must.

SILANTRO
Character
He is melancholy from years of loneliness and being misunderstood. Although he eventually develops a relationship, he still has a generally gloomy attitude towards life.
Voice
I am looking for a VA who either has a naturally deep voice or can convincingly imitate a deep voice (no digital down-pitching if at all possible). You must also be able to narrate, as that will be a major part of the series and the
character himself.
Line
"All I want to do is be at peace with the humans, but the King sees me as a threat and continuously attempts to snuff me out."
JUPITER
Character
She is generally a happy person, although she gets easily concerned, confused or sad when something goes wrong. She is also very mature and independent for her age.
Voice
Jupiter is 17 years old in the show, so I require a young female voice for her. A British accent is preferable, but NOT required (However, it MUST be authentic).
Line
"I was wondering, father. Could we go for a walk in the forest?"
NATHANIEL
Character
Nathaniel is an eager young man and is ready to help in any way he can. He is frequently defiant, but for noble reasons. He can get easily embarrassed depending on what he has done. Lastly, he cares about the well-being of everybody in his life and is, once again, willing to help them in any way possible.
Voice
I am looking for an 18 to 20 year old type of voice for Nathaniel.
Line
"My King! I would be honored!"
LEON, KING OF ENGLAND
Character
The King has fallen into a deep depression (with the loss of his daughter and wife), which has made him prone to irritability, especially when anyone suggests that his
daughter might be dead. However, he is still a caring king deep inside.
Voice
I am looking for a mid-to-old age type of voice (think Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Leonard Nimoy, Christopher Lee, etc.)
NOTE (1/3014): To be clear, I don't mean a direct impression of these guys, just something that would remind one of them.
Line
"Hold your tongue or lose your head!"
HAMAN
Character
Haman's character can be compared to that of Starscream (of Transformers). In other words, he is offensively sycophant to the King's face, but constantly defies his orders and feels that he can be a better ruler than the King.
Voice
The kind of voice that I have in mind for Haman is a young voice with a slightly raspy edge that is generally associated with villains.
Line
"The poor King is thirsty. Fetch him a cup of wine."
THE QUEEN OF ENGLAND
Character
The Queen is stubborn, but generally soft spoken.
Voice
For the Queen, a late-30's to early-40's type of voice is preferred. She will only appear in one episode, so you will not be required for the entire series.
Line
"Isn't she beautiful? I shall name her Jupiter."
THE KING'S KNIGHTS
Character
The knights' personalities vary.
Voice
I would like to have at least five voices for the knights. There are no specific requirements, except that they must all have adult voices.
Lines
"ATTACK!"
"CHARGE!"
"SLAY THE DRAGON!"
