Topic: Casting Call: Ultron Ascending [COULSON NEEDED]

EDIT: So I didn't think it was worth making a new thread for this, but I need someone to do a few lines for Agent Coulson for a quick, one-page-of-script prequel to Ultron Ascending. Please only audition if you think you can do something close enough to this to be convincing (though it doesn't need to be 100% accurate).

Phil Coulson
He actually has quite a soft, monotone voice. Click here for an example (he's the older guy who walks in, if anyone's not familiar with Marvel).
Test line: You have the kind of skills and ingenuity that we need for this project, and your people skills wouldn’t go amiss in your new team; maybe some of it’ll rub off on them.

I'm also looking for whoever voices Coulson to potentially appear in some future MBU brickfilms, but nothing's set in stone yet since Galactic Bricks and I are testing the water with that.

As for Ultron Ascending itself, I'm now looking at a January/February 2015 release, if at all possible. I had some major setbacks while filming the last scene, so I'm currently rewriting it (and I've added a couple of extra scenes too).

I might send in a test line for T'Challa/Black Panther. My voice tone is deep, although I'm not sure if my accent is what you're after or not.

Minor nit-pick, but I preferred Ultron Ascending. Age of Ultron is the real Avengers 2 title and this would seem more like a cheap rip-off only made to gather views off of the blockbuster's popularity. Ultron Ascending sounds more original, and while still conveniently timed, it has more appeal and less of a view-snatching feel. Also, it supports the fact that it's an original story, and not a parody and/or recreation of the movie. And honestly, your title is cooler.

Anyway, I'm sending the test lines now.

I get it. Changing to Age of Ultron was only something I was toying with today, and you're right. I've changed it back, in my project files. Thanks for the quality-check, man. I think I needed it this time.

I'd really like to take a shot at trying for Black Panther, but unfortunately I don't have a properly working mic right now.  However, I'll be needing to get one soon anyways, so I suppose I could record my audition using my broken mic (which can still record voices, but with static-ey background noise) and record the lines when I get a properly functioning mic.

Black Panther has gone, but due to unforeseen complications I now need Tony Stark and Hawkeye. I've updated the information above. Thanks to everyone who's auditioned so far!

For both of these two parts, you're technically auditioning for two brickfilms - Galactic Bricks is working on another Avengers brickfilm, and both are set in what we and another collaborator are calling the Marvel Brickfilm Universe (more on that another time). So if you audition for Ultron Ascending, please be ready to voice for Galactic Bricks' animation as well. Thank you!

I might try out for Hawkeye (I didn't like how my lines came out for my other auditions so I didn't send them in), but I won't be near my mic until Tuesday night, so I'll try to get them to you on Wednesday. It's alright if it's filled by then, I'm just letting you know that there is a possibility of me sending in something, just a tad late.
